In considering all aspects of exportation from the United States I believe that we as a nation should be concerned about the quality of the products that we export. Not just with items involved with popular culture but all items linked to the United States. The way we present ourselves to other countries reflects upon us as a nation . We can only benefit and move forward in a positive light on an international scale if we put our best foot forward. The United States is always being compared to China and other countries for the quality of our products. We need to show the world that we do care about this great country in that our products are beneficial and 1st rate as well. Our boys defend this nation every day and are proud to do so. We should be proud of anything that we export and be able to stand by it, proudly stamped with the USA approval!

I agree with you,we should care about our self image to other countries. The U.S. needs to make good products for low prices so consumers will keep buying from the U.S. The more we can export the more money the U.S. can make. If the products are not good and other countries stop buying from us, it makes the U.S. look bad and weak. We Americans do not want to show weakness for others will attach.

This is Stephanie, I totally agree with you, we as Americans do need to assure good quality of our products. I think it is great how you talked about our soldiers that are at war for us everyday and they are proud to be there and to be doing what they are doing. I never thought about it in that way. If our soldiers are proud to be fighting for our country, we should take pride in delivering good quality products to our consumers in our neighbor countries. It is very important to take pride in something that is to represent your country and has the tag of approval,"Made in the United States." It seems that we would as a country want our product to be an example of perfect quality and also, like you said yourself, when you are at competiotion with other countries we should always do our best to represent out country that we call home. "United we Stand, Divided we Fall."
Stephenie, I am in complete agreement with you about exporting the best the United States has to offer to other countries. Do you remember when everything made in Japan was just junk? That was before they cleaned up their act, and became the best that they could be.We want to be at the top of the heap, when it comes to exportation.We have all the resources availabe for being the best, and we need to take advantage of those resources.
I agree, but the fact that to make HIGH QUALITY AMERICAN products we would have to hire American workers, and they do not come cheap from what I hear =p. But in order to be sure that we are exporting high quality products companies, i believe, would lose money.
